Job Title: ODS/SST Extract Test Engineer (Wealth Management/ODS/SST)
Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid )
Duration/Term: Long Term Contract


Job Description:


We are seeking an ODS/SST Extract Testing Engineer with experience in wealth management data validation and extract testing. The ideal candidate will have expertise in data feed file extraction, VB Macro scripting, SQL query writing, HP ALM, and Agile testing methodologies. Prior experience with CRIMS and Snowflake is preferred but not mandatory.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform data feed file extraction testing and validate wealth management data integrity.
  • Develop and maintain VB Macro scripts for automation and data processing.
  • Write and execute SQL queries for data validation and reporting.
  • Conduct QA testing using HP ALM and adhere to SDLC best practices.
  • Implement Agile testing methodologies using tools like JIRA.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine testing strategies and improve processes.


Required Skills & Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in data extraction testing and validation.
  • Prior experience with wealth management data and underlying structures.
  • Expertise in VB Macro scripting for automation.
  • Proficiency in SQL query writing for data validation.
  • Familiarity with HP ALM, QA processes, and SDLC methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile testing tools, such as JIRA.
  • Exposure to CRIMS and Snowflake is a plus.
