Key Responsibilities
- Project Management: Oversee the scope, schedule, and quality of ambulatory application projects, setting clear expectations and coordinating tasks across cross-functional teams to meet budget and timeline requirements.
- Team Leadership: Advise and coach team members, providing guidance on project issues, success factors, and lessons learned while fostering a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
- Resource Coordination: Organize resources and hold weekly huddles to track deliverables, address end-user concerns, and ensure alignment with project milestones.
- Workflow Optimization: Guide Epic software workflow design, build, and testing, resolving technical issues to meet organizational needs.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a liaison between organizational leadership, Epic representatives, and end users, ensuring the system aligns with business objectives and maintaining regular communication through project updates and meetings.
- Issue Resolution: Identify and troubleshoot project challenges, serving as a support contact to ensure seamless implementation and operation.
- Training and Development: Support operational needs by participating in training and collaborating with end users to refine workflows.
- Service Excellence: Demonstrate a commitment to courtesy, dignity, respect, and professionalism in all interactions, aligning with organizational values.
- On-Call Support: Provide on-call support for urgent situations, maintenance issues, and prompt response to project needs, including potential immediate reporting to work.

Requirements (Must-Haves)
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience managing complex IT or healthcare projects where team members do not report directly to the project manager.
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Proficiency in PC-based tools, including word processing, database management, and spreadsheets.
- Strong analytical skills and logical thought processes to formulate practical solutions.
- Clear communication skills to interpret staffing needs and develop clear objectives.
- Ability to travel for formal Epic training and certification.
- Willingness to pass a pre-employment health screening and annual screenings thereafter.
Preferences (Nice-to-Haves)
- Master's degree in Information Systems or Business.
- PMI certification or equivalent project management certification.
- Certification in Epic ambulatory applications.
- Experience in healthcare IT, particularly with Epic systems.
- Prior success passing an Epic pre-assessment test.
