Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced AWS DevOps Engineer with 8+ years of hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and managing scalable, secure, and automated cloud infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS). The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), containerization, monitoring, and cloud security, and will work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to deliver high-quality, enterprise-grade solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain highly available, scalable AWS cloud infrastructure
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM
- Automate configuration management using Ansible, Chef, or Puppet
- Manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS)
- Monitor system performance, availability, and security using AWS-native and third-party tools
- Implement logging, monitoring, alerting, and incident response
- Ensure cloud infrastructure follows security best practices and compliance standards
- Optimize AWS costs, performance, and scalability
- Collaborate with application development teams to support DevOps best practices
- Perform root cause analysis and resolve production issues
- Mentor junior DevOps engineers and participate in architectural discussions
Required Skills & Qualifications
🔧 Core Technical Skills
- 8+ years of overall IT experience with 5+ years in AWS Cloud & DevOps
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS services, including:
- EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, Lambda, ELB, Auto Scaling, CloudWatch, Route 53
- Expertise in CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline
- Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
- Terraform, AWS CloudFormation
- Hands-on experience with Docker & Kubernetes (EKS)
- Proficiency in scripting languages: Bash, Shell, Python
- Experience with Linux/Unix system administration
- good understanding of networking concepts (VPC, Subnets, NAT, Security Groups)
