Workday Recruiting Technical Consultant

W2 only - No C2C
Join a dynamic team dedicated to transforming HR operations through innovative Workday solutions. We re seeking a Workday Recruiting Technical Consultant to lead system enhancements, collaborate with stakeholders, and support the optimization of recruiting processes.

Position: Workday Recruiting Technical Consultant
Contract Length: 6 months with possible extension
Location: Basking Ridge, NJ
Work Setup: Hybrid
Responsibilities

As a Workday Recruiting Technical Consultant, you will:
  • Lead end-to-end Workday Recruiting projects in partnership with HRIS, IT, and recruiting teams.
  • Translate business requirements into clear, actionable Workday Recruiting configurations and solutions.
  • Configure and test complex Workday recruiting business processes (BPs) and integrations.
  • Troubleshoot system issues, implement fixes, and validate through rigorous testing.
  • Train HRIS recruiting staff on advanced configurations and process enhancements.
  • Collaborate in strategic sessions to shape the future of Workday Recruiting across the organization.
  • Communicate system changes and updates to leadership and key stakeholders effectively.
  • Develop and demo prototypes using sandbox environments to validate proposed solutions.
Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:
  • 7+ years of relevant experience, including project management and HRIS systems work.
  • Deep expertise in Workday Recruiting, including the Business Process Framework, Job Profiles, and Supervisory Orgs.
  • Strong experience creating/modifying complex Workday recruiting BPs.
  • Ability to build Condition Rules, Validation Conditions, and test scenarios.
  • Proficiency in Workday Report Writer to develop custom reports.
  • Knowledge of configurable security, domain security policies, and Workday default roles.
  • Independent problem-solving ability with minimal guidance.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Background in HRIS or IT environments.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodology and tools such as JIRA.
  • Experience with Workday mobile access and adoption planning.
  • Exposure to AI and emerging Workday tools.
