Description
We are looking for a skilled Desktop Support Analyst to join our team in Menomonie, Wisconsin. In this Contract-to-permanent position, you will provide technical support and assistance to users experiencing hardware, software, or system-related issues. This role requires a proactive problem-solver who can effectively diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical challenges while delivering excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
Provide hands-on and remote technical support to resolve software, hardware, and system-related issues.
Conduct diagnostic tests to identify and troubleshoot system errors or malfunctions.
Collaborate with users to ensure issues are fully resolved and provide follow-up assistance as needed.
Install, configure, or update software and hardware to address technical problems.
Create, update, and maintain training manuals and knowledge base articles for new and existing systems.
Train team members on troubleshooting methods and diagnostic techniques to improve service efficiency.
Access client systems remotely to implement changes and resolve issues effectively.
Maintain accurate documentation of service requests and resolutions using tools like ServiceNow.
Ensure high-quality customer service by communicating effectively with users and addressing their concerns.
Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices to enhance support capabilities.
Requirements
Proficiency with Microsoft tools and applications.
Strong experience using ServiceNow or similar service management platforms.
Solid understanding of PC hardware, software, and network troubleshooting.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose technical issues efficiently.
Effective communication skills to assist users and document processes clearly.
Experience in creating, editing, and maintaining technical manuals and knowledge articles.
Familiarity with remote support tools and techniques for resolving client issues.
Educational background or certifications in computer repairs, IT, or a related field.
