Jr Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer

Job Description:
Seeking a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer to join our Direct Digital Marketing team.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic email campaigns that enhance the guest experience for our booked guests.
You'll work closely with our creative and CRM teams to build highly personalized and dynamic email content that drives engagement and pre-cruise revenue.
Required Skills:
Develop and code responsive email templates using HTML, CSS, and AMPscript within Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
Build dynamic content modules to personalize the guest experience based on booking details, sailing preferences, and loyalty status.
Leverage Salesforce Content Builder and Journey Builder to create automated, behavior-driven campaigns.
Collaborate with the creative team to implement design assets from Adobe Creative Suite into email templates.
Ensure all email designs are mobile-responsive, optimized for dark mode, and compatible across major email clients.
Perform A/B testing on content, subject lines, and CTAs to optimize performance.
Troubleshoot rendering issues and ensure proper tracking through UTM parameters and platform integrations.
Stay up-to-date with email development best practices, new Salesforce Marketing Cloud features, and emerging personalization tactics.
Required Years of Experience:
2-4 years of experience in email development, with hands-on expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC).
Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and AMPscript for dynamic content personalization.
Familiarity with Journey Builder, Automation Studio, and SQL for data segmentation.
Experience working with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator to optimize creative assets for email.
Knowledge of email design best practices, including mobile responsiveness and accessibility.
Detail-oriented with strong QA skills and a passion for delivering high-quality work.
Desired Skills:
Experience working with large customer datasets and audience segmentation strategies.
Familiarity with Litmus or other email testing platforms for rendering and spam filter testing.
Previous experience in the travel, hospitality, or e-commerce industry.
