Role: DLP Security Engineer
Location: Denver, CO
Fulltime
$100K - $120K
Job Summary: Role of DLP Security Engineer, Minimum 4+ in DLP deployment and operation experience and at least 2+ in MS Purview.
Years of experience needed:
Minimum 4+ in DLP deployment and operation experience and at least 2+ in MS Purview
Skill & Roles:
- Overall 5+years' experience in IT Security and Data Security
- 4+ years of endpoints DLP Solution deployment and operation experience for
- Must have implemented and managed MS Purview DLP solution
- Must possess basic technical knowledge of Data security
- Knowledge of cryptographic implementations at media, file, and application levels
- Configuring s and creating workflows on MS Purview DLP
- Reviews violations of data security procedures to eliminate violations
- Experience of compliance requirements for database security (e.g. SOX, HIPAA, PCI etc.)
- Strong verbal and written communications skills; must be able to effectively communicate technical details and thoughts in non-technical/general terminology to various levels of the organization.
- Work well in team environments with internal and external resources as well as work independently on tasks
- Strong organizational, and time management skills
- Strong understanding of networking, SMTP, DNS;
- Experience working with email threat prevention platforms in complex email delivery systems;
- Experience with sandbox technologies and platforms;
- Deep Technical Expertise on LDAP, Active Directory Services
- In depth knowledge of DMARC, DKIM, and SPF Preferred Skills;
- Basic Cloud architecture experience;
- Linux experience with account and group management;
- In depth knowledge of email messaging systems, system administration in email gateways
- Accountable for setting a standardized framework (tags, policies, configuration settings, etc.)
- Website and file reputation filtering
- Check for daily patch and pattern updates from the vendor
- Regular follow ups with Vendor/Customers in obtaining the required data/resolving any virus s
- Check compliance on daily basis to improve and maintain the compliance of endpoints
- Manual definition and signature updates on endpoints and servers
- Provide virus definitions SLA report monthly.
- Prepare and maintain solution documents such as SOP, Deployment and Operations guide
Tool:
- Symantec DLP.
Education qualification:
Bachelor s degree preferably in Computer Science or Information Systems and /or equivalent formal training or work experience.
Certifications Needed:
Certificates in relevant fields are added advantage.
