We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Software Engineer (Contingent Resource) to support complex, large-scale software engineering initiatives. In this role, you will consult on strategic projects, evaluate multifaceted technical challenges, and contribute to the design and delivery of scalable, secure, and high-performing systems. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure solutions align with business goals and compliance requirements.

About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Software Engineer (Contingent Resource) to support complex, large-scale software engineering initiatives. In this role, you will consult on strategic projects, evaluate multifaceted technical challenges, and contribute to the design and delivery of scalable, secure, and high-performing systems. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure solutions align with business goals and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership on complex software engineering initiatives with broad organizational impact.
- Analyze and resolve large-scale, multi-dimensional engineering challenges, including those involving novel or ambiguous factors.
- Design and implement scalable .NET microservices and RESTful APIs.
- Lead architectural design efforts and mentor junior engineers.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
- Ensure solutions meet security, compliance, and performance standards.
- Contribute to the development and enforcement of engineering best practices.
- 10+ years of experience in .NET development on large, complex codebases.
- 5+ years of experience developing .NET microservices.
- 10+ years of experience with SQL, including complex queries and stored procedures.
- 5+ years of experience working with RESTful APIs.
- 3+ years of experience in software development within an information security environment.
- 3+ years of experience with message bus and queue technologies.
- 3+ years of experience in a team lead or mentoring capacity.
- 5+ years of experience in architectural design.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve complex technical issues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to document code and communicate with leadership.
- Experience with CyberArk Enterprise Password Vault and CyberArk APIs.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Harness.
- Experience working in highly regulated or security-sensitive environments.
