THE WORK:
    • You'll support financial budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
    • You'll create and maintain the Detailed Forecast File (DFF) for the project.
    • You'll facilitate necessary DFF reviews and forecasting updates as required by LE and LRP cycles.
    • You'll provide financial variance analysis including proper explanations in support of budgeting and forecasting cycles.
    • You'll support all Op Co-required budgeting and forecasting activity, including the Work Incurred Report (WIR) process.
    • You'll enter and maintain all project-related financial and account information in the Work Planning and Tracking (WPT) system.
    • You'll work with Category Managers via Op Co or contractor Project Manager to issue and process necessary WPT Check Book packages.
    • You'll develop and distribute budgeting and forecasting reports to the Project Management team.
    • You'll assist with contractor cost control management, including reviewing monthly accruals, scope change requests, and invoice reviews.
    • You'll assist with SCN audit and analysis.
    • You'll assist with program/project forecasting.
    • You'll assist with the setup of ITNs, PARs, and Project IDs.
    • Flexible: The work location for this role will include a mix of working remotely, onsite at a client or in an Accenture office or center.
    • With all our roles, there is some in-person time for collaboration, learning and building relationships with clients, peers, leaders and communities. As an employer, we will be as flexible as possible to support your specific work/life needs.

HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
    • Bachelor's degree
    • 8 years of experience in accounting / cost controls in the field or in a related area
    • Valid driver's license and a driving record that meets Accenture requirements

BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:
    • Experience working within a regulated utility
    • Proficient users of Word, Access, Outlook, and Excel (Pivot tables and V-lookups)
    • Possess knowledge and understanding of financial and accounting principles
    • Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures
    • Must be able to self-manage and work well in a changing environment
    • Good written and oral communications skills with analytical experience
