Financial Planning & Analysis / Pharmacy Supply Chain Reconciliation SME
Work Arrangement: 100% Remote
Duration: 18-Month Contract-to-Hire
Rate: Up to $67/hour W2 | Up to $78/hour C2C
Role Overview:
We are seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis / Pharmacy Supply Chain SME to lead the financial strategy, reconciliation, and performance oversight of the pharmacy supply chain across commercial and government lines of business (e.g., FEHBP, Medicare, Medicaid). This role requires a deep understanding of how pharmacy finances flow from rebates and guarantees to acquisition costs and formulary mapping and the ability to turn complex data into actionable insights for leadership.

- Pharmacy Financial Modeling
- Mastery of rebate structures, guarantees, acquisition costs, and dispensing fees
- Ability to build and manage end-to-end financial models specific to pharmacy operations
- Pricing Strategy
- In-depth knowledge of AWP, WAC, NADAC, and other drug pricing benchmarks
- Skilled in interpreting pricing terms, exclusions, and eligibility rules across payers
- Data Analysis
- Strong ability to extract, synthesize, and present financial performance data
- Proficiency in Excel (including VBA), PowerPoint, and tools like SAS or Access
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Experience working with actuarial, clinical, supply chain, and legal teams
- Ability to translate finance into strategy across diverse business units
- Reconciliation & Audit Readiness
- Precision in tracking, reconciling, and documenting financial flows
- Ability to manage audits and ensure alignment with contract terms and regulatory compliance
Additional Responsibilities:
- Support forecasting, performance tracking, and financial risk mitigation across multiple entities
- Align financial terms with contractual structures and delivery mechanisms
- Maintain audit-ready documentation and provide insight during financial reviews
- Build business cases, pricing calculators, and financial presentations for executive leadership
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
(In lieu of degree, 4 additional years of relevant experience will be considered) - Experience: 8+ years in financial analysis, preferably within pharmacy/PBM domains
- Preferred: MBA/MS in a quantitative discipline; familiarity with CMS, Medicaid/Medicare regulations
