Data Center Technicians

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Reston, VA that is seeking Data Center Technicians.

Summary:
We are looking to build a team of Data Center Technicians for a 6 month long project. This project is to replace the water supply and return hoses in server racks. The Technicians will ensure that the replacement process is carried out efficiently, minimizing server downtime and ensuring that all components are installed correctly to maintain optimal server cooling operations.

Key Responsibilities:
* Replacement of Water Supply and Return Hoses
* System Shutdown and Restart
* Leak Testing and Quality Assurance
* Documentation and Reporting
* Safety and Compliance

REQUIREMENTS:
* 2+ years of experience working with critical data center infrastructure or equivalent, with plumbing or hvac skills and experience
* Knowledge of hardware and servers
* Knowledge of the data center environment or equivalent (network, Electrical, filtration, air conditioning, water cooling, etc.)
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to work in an active team environment, perform inspections, lift heavy objects

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
