Job Details
Job Summary:
- Supervise, train, and mentor a team of winders while actively participating in daily winding operations
- Oversee production schedules, quality control, and safety in the winding department
- Ensure accurate inspection, assembly, and final testing of AC/DC motors, generators, coils, armatures, and related components
- Perform hands-on tasks including brazing, soldering, welding, and coil fabrication
- Coordinate with engineering, maintenance, and purchasing to support efficient workflow and material availability
- Maintain a clean, organized work environment and provide remote customer support when needed
- Collaborate with satellite locations and internal teams to balance workloads
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred
- 3 5 years of winding experience, including leadership or supervisory roles
- Strong knowledge of motor winding techniques, materials, and EASA standards
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and ERP systems; understanding of ISO 9001
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Familiar with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices
