We re hiring a IT Infrastructure Team Lead for a contract to hire with one of our direct clients in San Jose, CA

Requirement:

Position Title: IT Infrastructure Team Lead US

Type: Contract-to-Hire

Location: San Jose, CA (100% Onsite)

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and technically adept IT Infrastructure Team Lead to drive the planning, execution, and successful delivery of critical IT infrastructure initiatives. This includes server and storage upgrades, cloud migrations, network enhancements, and security implementations. In this hands-on leadership role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the resilience, scalability, and security of the organization s IT landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate and optimize existing IT infrastructure components including servers, storage, backups, and networks for improved reliability and performance.

Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date documentation for all infrastructure systems and changes.

Ensure all infrastructure solutions align with business goals, compliance standards, and security policies.

Lead and manage full lifecycle infrastructure projects planning, execution, monitoring, risk mitigation, and closure.

Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (Infrastructure, Support, Security, etc.) to deliver projects efficiently and effectively.

Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

Proactively manage project risks and issues; maintain transparency through regular reporting and status updates to leadership.

Drive change management processes to minimize disruption to ongoing operations.

Maintain all project artifacts and documentation, including post-project reviews and lessons learned.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of infrastructure project management methodologies and practices.

Qualifications:

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure engineering or support in a team lead role.

Proven track record managing large-scale infrastructure projects across servers, storage, networks, and cloud platforms.

Strong hands-on knowledge of technologies including Active Directory, Windows/Linux servers, storage systems, virtualization (VMware/VDI), networking (VPN, firewalls), and security best practices.

Solid experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, O365), enterprise backup, and disaster recovery solutions.

Proficient in project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, and Smartsheet.

Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

The national base pay range below is a good-faith estimate of what our client may pay for new hires. Actual pay may vary based on Client's assessment of the candidates knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, certifications and ability to meet required minimum job qualifications. Other factors impacting pay include prevailing wages in the work location and internal equity. $110,000 - $130,000
