Application Architect

Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Architect with our client in the financial industry located in Pennington, NJ, Charlotte, NC and Plano, TX. This is a 12+ month contract position.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for translating the requirements created by functional analysts into the architecture for that solution and describing it through the set of architecture and design documents
• Responsible for developing the high-level strategy to solve business problems
• Ensure solutions adhere to enterprise standards
• May be aligned to an applications or a technology stack
• Lead the overall design and oversees the development of cross-functional, multi-platform applications systems
• Develop application architecture and blueprints and defines application components, platforms, interfaces, and development tools
• Provide technical guidance to application development teams, consults on integration and conversion issues and participates in mapping technology-independent applications architecture to the chosen technology platform
• Make high-level design choices and may sometimes dictate technical standards, including coding standards, tools, or platforms, so as to advance business goals rather than to place arbitrary restrictions on the choices of developers
• Engage in the design of the architecture of the hardware environment, or may focus entirely on the design methodology of the code
• Handle the interaction between the business and IT sides of an organization

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in API GATEWAY build up, Cloud Migration, Artificial Intelligence Kafka, Java experience

Pay range: $58.31 - $66.31
