Job Title: Systems Integration and Test Engineer
Location: Orlando, FL
About the Role:
We are seeking a Systems Integration and Test Engineer to support the development and testing of a missile subsystem redesign using existing test stations. This role involves executing subsystem and system-level integration and tests for new and existing products. You will play a key role in providing technical support across all phases of testing.
What You'll Do:
- Develop and execute subsystem and system-level integration and test plans and procedures.
- Prepare test equipment and facilities required for test events.
- Support Design Verification Tests (DVT) and Qualification tests, including Environmental Stress Screening (ESS), Electromagnetic Interference (EMI), and Functional Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP) for program hardware.
- Investigate and resolve hardware, software, and test equipment anomalies during system and subsystem testing.
- Evaluate redesigns or upgrades to existing test equipment and provide engineering recommendations.
- Prepare for and support Test Readiness Reviews (TRRs) and deliver final reports and presentations.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related STEM discipline.
- 5+ years of professional experience in systems integration and testing.
- 3+ years of experience with common lab equipment (Digital Multimeters, Oscilloscopes, Power Supplies).
- 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office applications.
- 3+ years of experience in electronic testing and user acceptance testing.
- 3+ years of experience in electrical troubleshooting and basic mechanical/electrical concepts.
- 3+ years of experience writing technical documents and end-user documentation.
- 3+ years of experience evaluating technical reports.
- 1+ years of experience applying engineering design principles.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to analyze complex designs and create test solutions that optimize quality, cost, and schedule.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills; able to communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Familiarity with specialized lab equipment such as pressure/vacuum chambers and optical measurement tools.
- Foundational knowledge of troubleshooting analog and digital electronics.
- Experience writing test plans, test procedures, and test reports.
