Role Title: Quality Execution Principal

Duration: 6-12 months+

Preferred Location: Remote with travel monthly to Buffalo, NY

Role Description:
The Quality Execution Principal is a strategic and operational individual contributor who ensures quality standards are embedded across a complex transformation program. Acting as a key liaison between Quality/Test leadership and delivery teams, this role drives testing governance, data integrity, and quality maturity.
Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with Quality and Test leaders to translate strategy into actionable execution across multiple teams.
• Embed testing standards into daily practices and surface risks, blockers, and cross-cutting issues.
• Review test plans and results for compliance, accuracy, and traceability using Zephyr and Jira.
• Ensure end-to-end traceability from requirements to defects, maintaining audit-ready data.
• Provide actionable insights via dashboards and reports to support leadership decisions and readiness assessments.
• Promote consistent tool usage, coach teams on best practices, and support tooling optimization.

Requirements:

• 10+ years in enterprise test quality, test management, or strategic QA roles.
• Proven ability to operationalize test strategy in matrixed, multi-vendor environments.
• Comfortable balancing high-level strategy with hands-on execution.
• Acts with ownership and sound judgment, escalating only when needed and driving resolution independently.
• Brings structure and accountability without taking over delivery ownership.
• Willing to step in tactically to stabilize processes and maintain progress without losing strategic focus.
• Expert in Zephyr Scale and Jira, including JQL, dashboards, and traceability.
• Deep knowledge of testing lifecycle, test case design, and defect management.
• Experience in Agile, SAFe, and hybrid delivery models.
• Strong data analysis and reporting skills (Excel, Confluence, BI tools).
• Excellent cross-functional communication and influence skills.
