The Apple Mobile & Messaging Apps team builds mobile e-commerce and retail experiences through the Apple Store App, used by millions of Apple customers around the world. We ensure that they are not only accessible but provide an outstanding experience for users with disabilities. By integrating with ground-breaking iOS technologies and high performance services, along with adopting the latest HI design standards, sets the bar for iOS apps. In addition to the app, we also build the next generation of Apple's engagement and communication with customers through Messaging Apps, which powers the company's official accounts on WeChat and iOS Business Chat.

Our team is seeking a Software Engineer to improve and enhance the accessibility of Apple products for all users, regardless of their abilities. The ideal candidate will be a motivated software engineer, eager to learn and contribute meaningfully to the lives of our users. You will work with dedicated engineers in a dynamic, technically fast paced environment. You'll be encouraged to demonstrate creativity in problem solving with the ability to think quickly to come up with solution in time-condensed situations. You should be self-motivated and passionate about driving forward the customer experience with an eye for detail.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Experience with iOS Accessibility frameworks and features
  • Proven debugging and performance testing skills
  • Working knowledge of UIKit or SwiftUI
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with building for visionOS
  • Real passion for quality and attention to detail

Pay & Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,100 and $264,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
