Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Expert to lead the design, development, and administration of our ServiceNow platform. This role will drive operational excellence through ServiceNow strategy, IT asset optimization, and enterprise discovery aligning technology, processes, and teams for measurable business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Platform Administration: Configure and maintain ServiceNow modules (Incident, Problem, Change, Asset, CMDB, Service Catalog, Knowledge Management).
Custom Development: Design, script, and implement new applications, workflows, and integrations.
System Integrations: Build and maintain REST/SOAP API-based integrations with enterprise systems.
Process Optimization: Refine workflows, automate processes, and improve IT service delivery.
Security & Compliance: Implement RBAC, monitor performance, ensure platform security.
Upgrades & Maintenance: Manage upgrades and patching with minimal disruption.
Documentation & Training: Create documentation and deliver training for users and admins.
Required Qualifications
10+ years hands-on ServiceNow administration & development experience
5+ years experience with ITIL processes & best practices
Strong expertise with JavaScript, Glide API, Flow Designer, ServiceNow Studio
Proven experience with REST/SOAP integrations
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
ServiceNow CSA and/or CIS (ITSM, ITOM, HRSD) certifications
Experience with ITOM Discovery, Event Management, or Performance Analytics
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
Soft Skills
Excellent written & verbal communication
Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
