We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst with expertise in Investment Management to join our
team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of investment processes, financial
instruments, and portfolio management. As a key member of our Data Platform team, you will
play a vital role in analyzing business requirements, implementing solutions, and optimizing
processes related to the new Data Platform.
Responsibilities:
Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with investment professionals, portfolio managers,
and stakeholders to gather and document business requirements related to investment
data strategies, risk management, and performance analysis.
Data Analysis: Utilize quantitative analysis to assess investment performance, risk
exposure, and market trends.
Portfolio Management Support: Provide analytical support for portfolio management
activities, including trade execution, rebalancing, and optimization.
Investment Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for process improvement within
the investment lifecycle. Implement changes to enhance efficiency, reduce operational
risk, and streamline workflows.
Performance Reporting: Develop and generate regular reports on investment
performance, attribution, and other key metrics. Work with reporting tools and systems to
present data in a clear and insightful manner.
Technology Solutions Implementation: Collaborate with IT teams to implement
technology solutions that support the data platform.
Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate communication between investment teams,
business units, and technology teams. Ensure a shared understanding of investment-
related requirements, challenges, and solutions.
Documentation and Training: Document data related requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field. Advanced degree
(e.g., MBA, CFA) is a plus.
Proven experience as a Business Analyst in the investment management industry.
In-depth understanding of investment processes, financial instruments, and portfolio
management.
Strong quantitative and analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and modeling.
Knowledge of risk management principles and practices in the context of investment
portfolios.
Experience with investment management systems, reporting tools, and technology
solutions.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CFA, FRM) are a plus.
