Role: Java Full Stack Developer
Location: McLean, VA (On-Site)
Type: Contract
Overview: We are seeking an experienced Java Full Stack Developer to join our on-site team in McLean, VA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices development, along with front-end expertise in Angular and hands-on experience working in AWS cloud environments.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable Java-based applications using Spring Boot and Microservices architecture.
- Build dynamic and responsive front-end applications using Angular, HTML5, CSS3, and TypeScript.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs to support front-end and backend communication.
- Work with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, etc.) for deployment and cloud integration.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.
- Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance tuning.
- Follow Agile development practices and CI/CD pipelines.
Required Skills:
- 6+ years of experience in Java/J2EE development.
- Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Microservices, and REST APIs.
- Proficiency in Angular (2+), JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and TypeScript.
- Experience with AWS Cloud Services and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, Maven).
- Strong understanding of SQL/NoSQL databases.
- Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.
Preferred:
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization tools.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
