Senior Network Support Engineer (On-Site, Miami, FL)

Important:

  • Must currently reside in Florida and be able to commute to Miami.

  • No relocation available.

Our global software client is seeking a Senior Network Support Engineer to join their dynamic, high-performance team in Miami, FL. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside world-class engineers and enterprise customers, supporting critical systems that drive global business operations.

You ll play a key role in ensuring customers have seamless access to the data and applications that power their success, leveraging expertise across networking, cloud, virtualization, and security.


Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex network and product issues for enterprise customers.

  • Collaborate with internal engineering, QA, and support teams to identify and resolve product defects.

  • Research and develop technical solutions, contributing to the company s knowledge base.

  • Advise customers on best practices for network optimization and management using the company s product suite.

  • Maintain strong, proactive relationships with customers to ensure service excellence.


Qualifications & Experience
  • Education: Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science, Network Security, or related field.

  • Experience:

    • 7+ years in network management or customer network support.

    • 2+ years in critical or managed customer care.

    • Proven success in troubleshooting and resolving complex network issues.

    • Experience collaborating remotely with global teams.

  • Certifications:

    • Cisco Certification (CCNA required; CCNP preferred).

    • Linux Certification (RHCT minimum).

    • Additional certifications (PMP, VMware, Dell DOSD) are a plus.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Strong knowledge of Windows and Unix environments.

    • Familiarity with VMware, cloud infrastructure, and multi-tiered applications.

    • Excellent written communication capable of creating technical documentation and knowledge base content.

  • Soft Skills:

    • Self-motivated, proactive, and detail-oriented.

    • Strong multitasking and collaboration abilities.
