Role: E.Commerce & Subscription Management Applications (Experience with SAP Commerce and/or Keylight)

Description

Analyzes complex business problems to be solved with automated systems. Identifies gaps and provides technical expertise in business requirements for system functional specifications and scales new and current systems, processes and procedures in a cost-effective manner. Configures system settings and options. Develops and executes comprehensive strategies, managing transition processes, and ensuring smooth and successful implementations. Plans and executes unit, integration and acceptance testing to meet business requirements. Designs details of automated systems. May provide consultation to users in the area of automated systems. May lead cross-functional linked teams to address business or systems issues.

Job Purpose

  • This position will be assigned as a subject matter expert for client s subscription management and eCommerce applications. They will be responsible for development and governance of global business processes and policies that support multiple locations and organizations throughout each application s landscape.
  • Responsibilities include supporting application upgrades, gathering and analyzing data to deliver business requirements for proposed projects, creation of technical specifications, application change management, application administration and development.
  • Partnering with IT application developers and content managers to deliver solutions that support global processes. Requires participation in application implementations and release management.
  • Supporting business users globally with development of standard business process, training documentation, and content.

Core Job Duties

  • Work as a liaison and subject matter expert between technical teams and business owners for system enhancements and upgrades, root cause analysis, and solution recommendations.
  • Gather requirements from end users, facilitate business process discussions, and participate in solution design, documentation, test, and end user training.
  • Manage one or more projects/applications having cross-functional, global, and organizational implications.
  • Participate in the development of the most effective processes for efficient global user experience.
  • Evaluate existing processes and identify opportunities for improvement, with focus on a transition towards a subscription-based model.
  • Manage the implementation, configuration, and administration of all subscription management processes within the applications supported, including account and user management, billing and revenue recognition, subscription creation and assignment, pricing models, and more.
  • Implement best practices and innovative solutions to streamline operations.
  • Ensure processes are scalable and adaptable to future growth.
  • Responsible for the development and delivery of business process documentation.
  • Facilitate understanding of how the application supports a business process and interfaces with other applications within the organization.
  • Apply governance policies and business structure to drive decisions with inputs from multiple stakeholders.
  • Communicate directly and independently with global stakeholders.
  • Support the implementation and roll out of the business applications and processes to all locations, local and globally.

Minimum Job Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years experience with Commerce and/or subscription management applications. Experience with SAP Commerce and/or Keylight, a major plus.

Skills & Attributes

  • Apply advanced knowledge of policies, processes and concepts.
  • In depth understanding of business applications and cross functions.
  • Vast knowledge of Commerce and Subscription Management applications.
  • Good knowledge of end-to-end data integration aspects between multiple applications, including ERP systems, middleware, and custom-facing applications.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and TypeScript preferred.
  • Able to prioritize and manage multiple deliverables.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities, assignments, and roles.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills are necessary.
