Job Details

DataStaff, Inc. is currently seeking a Copywriter/Technical Writer for a long-term contract opportunity with one of our direct clients in Atlanta, GA.

*This position is hybrid; the selected candidate must be available to report onsite as directed

Job Description:
Under general supervision, the Technical Writer will edit and review documents for system applications and related communications.

Responsibilities:

  • Edit and review agency system applications for grammar and style.


Knowledge and Abilities:

  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Keen eye for detail, grammar, and style
  • Experience writing in and adhering to AP Style
  • Strong proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong organizational skills


Required Skills:

  • Bachelor s degree (or equivalent) in journalism, English, communications, or related discipline.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail, grammar, flow, and style.
  • 3 Years - Experience in copywriting and editing.
  • Experience writing and adhering to AP Style
  • Excellent writing portfolio demonstrating the ability to use brand voice appropriately across various mediums
  • Ability to work independently and with a team.


Desired Skill:

  • Background in writing for government entities.
