Solution Analyst

Description
The Solution Data Analyst will be working independently and with business stakeholders, Power BI Developers, and HANA Data Modelers, will participate in designing and delivering reporting and analytics solutions for our Finance, Operations and/or Maintenance teams using sources like SAP HANA Datawarehouse, SAP ECC, Oracle EBS, and other Enterprise systems.
Skill priorities in ranked order:
1. Solution delivery - agile and PM Skills
2. Business analysis in data/reporting context with finance, procurement, operations and maintenance domain background
3. Experience working with larger technical teams
4. Varied ERP experience (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
5. Hands-on technical skills with Power BI
6. SAP HANA experience/exposure (native database, not the ERP)
Key responsibilities:
Monitor and manage project and operational performance - scope, quality, timeline, communication to stakeholders
Working directly with the business to drive out their data and reporting requirements,
Working with HANA data modelers to create models/cubes and conduct unit testing
Assessing/QA the data in models and reports and working with business SMEs to have newly developed artefacts accepted
Supporting new reporting and project initiatives to be defined
Working in Power BI to create report and dashboard designs and templates as well as coordinating and driving development efforts by others (including offshore)
Provide end user training

Technical: You love technology and seeing it applied to solve real problems. In particular, you have a passion for technologies that improve visibility to data like Microsoft Power BI, Analysis for Office, SAP Analytics Cloud, or Excel and you're not afraid to write some SQL code to crunch numbers if needed. You are comfortable with translating business requirements into technical specifications
Communication: You are a strong communicator, whether it is written, verbal, or presenting ideas. You also enjoy collaborating with people on different teams and continue to maintain high levels of visibility, efficiency, and collaboration. You possess tactful negotiation and persuasion skills to help build enterprise alignment on optimal data management and analytics practices. You are not afraid to provide guidance to peers and leaders when appropriate

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $90.00 - $110.00/hr.
