Job Summary:

In this role, you will be part of a team to deliver OTS Training as well as support the development, coordination, implementation, and administration of complex facility training and development programs, including employee competencies and technical skills. You will participate in the delivery of all OTS training and assessment including performing quality reviews. Your recommendations will help improve effectiveness, cost efficiency, and processes.

Position will initially be in Houston Texas and will move to site at Port Arthur Texas during the execution phase.

Major Responsibilities:

Planning/development and execution of OTS Training during Home Office and Field/Site phases

Support the development of detailed plans and scenarios for OTS activities including scheduling and tracking

Lead and assess Training of personnel in compliance with Training Programs

Support the Implement of integrated organization to deliver OTS activities

Liaise and coordinate with Client the shared activities and tasks outlined in the Training Plan

Manages the development, coordination, implementation, and administration of authorized training and development programs for a large complex facility

May represent the Training Manager when required

Supervise Training activities and allocation of material and logistics to support

Develops and implements training activities directed at both employee competencies and technical skills for on project or plant operations wide basis in accordance with a Systematic Approach to Training

Under direction of the Training Manager, design, implement and conducts budgeted technical training for a project or plant

Provides operational direction and guidance to candidates as assigned

Monitor the delivery of the trainings according to regulations and customers requirements

Ensuring adequate knowledge transfer to candidates

Support quality reviews to improve training efficiency, processes, and cost efficiency

Assists in the preparation of operational manuals and procedures which govern facility operations and monitors adherence to same.

Support implementation of safety and security policies, procedures and instructions for facility operations and ensures that all state and federal codes, requirements, and standards are complied with.

Support the development of initial budget estimate for training

Education and Experience Requirements:

Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 10-13 years of relevant experience or 14-17 years of relevant work experience

Required Knowledge and Skills:

Extensive experience (5 Years +) in Training and Development of Operations personnel in a complex processing plant (Preference in Hydrocarbon/LNG). Applied knowledge of OTS Training methodologies.

Experience in delivery of OTS

Knowledge of OTS from both a Contractor and Clients as deliverables

Experience and demonstrated ability to deliver training courses using classroom techniques and standard or improvised teaching aids

Demonstrated ability to prepare and present effective oral and written reports

Knowledge in developing, coordinating, implementing, and administering training programs.

Knowledge and experience in the scope of work inherent In operations and maintenance projects
