Summary

HII-Mission Technologies is looking for a motivated individual to fill the role of Quality Control Analyst 2 for their Syracuse, NY Operations. This position will have responsibility for the inspection of product for use on multiple programs, including but not limited to hardware and software. Their efforts will be used to analyze program and quality process performance, identify adverse trends, understand/identify risks, and drive effective corrective action as well as overall process improvements.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and implement testing and inspection procedures.
  • Test and inspect raw materials, chemicals, and/or products at incoming, in-process, and final inspection points to ensure compliance with quality standards and applicable government regulations.
  • Identify, communicate, investigate, track, and provide status and solutions for any deviations/nonconformances affecting product or processes at different levels within the organization.
  • Advise operating units on quality control standards for raw materials, chemicals, packaging materials, and finished products.
  • Support Product Quality investigations and initiatives.
  • Audit testing results to determine if product specifications are met.
  • Recommend corrective action where necessary.
  • Interact with Program Managers, Engineering, and Operations representatives.


What We Are Looking For

  • 2 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 0 years experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 6 years relevant experience.
  • Background in ISO9001/AS9100.
  • Basic understanding in process documentation, workflow definition, and analyzing gaps.
  • Self-motivated and driven desire to succeed with minimal direction.
  • Ability to work both in a team and individually.
  • Experience with Microsoft suite.
  • Experience with hardware inspection equipment (calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, etc.)
  • Ability to obtain DoD Secret lvl Clearance


Preferred: Bonus Points For

  • Work experience in a DOD environment.
  • Active DoD Secret lvl Clearance
