Job Description:

Parsons is looking for a talented Civil Engineer, Airfield Pavement Design Manager to join our team! In this role you will get to work on one of the largest, state-of-the-art airports in the US.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Airfield Pavement Design: Demonstrated experience in airfield pavement design (Runway, Taxiway, and Apron), familiarity with FAA Standards, Advisory Circulars(ACs), industry standards and best practices.
  • Project Management: Proven track record in project/Design management, including the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Knowledge of Pavement Management Program: Familiarity with pavement management programs (FAA) and software tools used in the aviation industry for pavement design -maintenance management, and optimization of airfield pavements.
  • Drainage Design Experience: Experience in designing drainage systems for airfield infrastructure, including stormwater management and flood mitigation.
  • Geotechnical/Environmental Expertise: Strong understanding of geotechnical and Environmental management principles and practices as they relate to airfield design-construction and maintenance.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:
  • Professional License in TX: Possession of a professional engineering license in the state of Texas.
  • Background in Aviation, possessing a minimum of 10 years' experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering

$96,400.00 - $168,700.00
