Summary:
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a wide array of automation system in the warehouse area including, mini load AS/RS cranes, Fanuc robots, various roller conveyors, and automation devices.
- Work with mechanical and electrical systems in automation.
- Handle Fanuc robots and other automated machines.
- Troubleshoot robot issues and fix automation problems.
- Strong in PLC able to read, write, and fix PLC programs, Utilize PLC code to solve more advanced production issues, work with PLC logic and codes.
- Utilize a Fanuc Teach Pendant to troubleshoot robotic automation cells
- Work with the operations team to ensure all processes and equipment are running smoothly and any issues are resolved in a timely manner.
- Work with the engineering team on advanced support issues or process improvement projects.
- Ensure preventative maintenance tasks are completed thoroughly.
- Education: A.A.S. in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Technology (Required)
- Hands-on experience with Fanuc robots and conveyor systems
- Ability to navigate and interpret PLC code
- Robotics (Fanuc, Kuka, Motoman)
- In lieu of a degree, 5+ years hands-on experience with robots, PLCs, AC/DC and servo motors, pneumatic systems, sensors, valves, and other automation related equipment
- Windows PC and Office Suite proficiency (Excel, Word)
- Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude with the ability to work safely around automated equipment
- Safety conscious
- Self-starter with the ability to work both independently and in small teams
- Ability to multi-task with strong organizational skills
- Results driven
