Position: Supervisory Intelligence Analyst
Location: San Diego, California
Duration: Full-time/Long Term Contract With potential extension.
Job Summary:
The Supervisory Intelligence Analyst supports the San Diego Law Enforcement Coordination Center (SD-LECC) by leading intelligence operations and supervising analysts within a major unit. This role oversees intelligence analysis, ensures compliance with privacy and civil liberties laws, and produces actionable intelligence products to support regional public safety and law enforcement partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and mentor intelligence analysts and staff
- Manage intelligence analysis using the full intelligence cycle
- Review and approve intelligence reports, briefings, and presentations
- Coordinate information sharing with local, state, federal, and private-sector partners
- Ensure compliance with SD-LECC policies and state/federal regulations
- Develop SOPs, provide training, and support special projects
Required Skills:
- Intelligence analysis (strategic and tactical)
- Leadership and supervisory experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with classified and unclassified information
- Knowledge of fusion center and/or HIDTA operations
- Proficiency with analytical tools and databases
Minimum Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizen
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Federal Secret Security Clearance
- Bachelor s degree in a relevant field (or 5+ years fusion center experience in lieu of degree)
- Supervisory experience in intelligence, law enforcement, or related field
- Ability to pass a law enforcement background investigation
