Location: TN-Nashville, Hybrid 3-4 days onsite
Overview: Every Turnberry consultant belongs to a practice, an internal group of consultants and leaders with shared experience and expertise. Each of these practices aligns to one of the core services Turnberry offers to clients. As a Six Sigma Process Lead, you will join Turnberry's Business Transformation practice. Turnberry's Business Transformation practice is dedicated to diagnosing and addressing core business challenges including regulatory compliance, full-scale implementation, managing change and driving continuous improvement across transformation initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Lead discovery and assessment activities to understand current-state processes, pain points, and variation across teams and business units
Conduct detailed process mapping (L1-L4), SIPOCs, value-stream mapping, and workflow analysis
Facilitate cross-functional workshops to uncover gaps, define requirements, and align stakeholders on future-state direction
Apply Lean Six Sigma tools-DMAIC, root cause analysis, FMEA, cause/effect, hypothesis testing, control charts-to identify waste, bottlenecks, and sources of variation
Quantify improvement opportunities using data analysis, time studies, cycle-time breakdowns, and performance metrics
Develop future-state process designs, standard work, RACI frameworks, and operational playbooks
Partner with technology teams to translate operational requirements into system workflows, business rules, and automation requirements
Establish KPIs, dashboards, and monitoring mechanisms to ensure sustainability of improvements
Drive cross-functional alignment and influence stakeholders to adopt changes in high-visibility, high-impact environments
Present findings, recommendations, and business cases to director, VP, and executive-level stakeholders
Qualifications:
7-10+ years of experience in process improvement, operational excellence, or management consulting within a large enterprise
Proven expertise applying Lean Six Sigma methodologies
Strong facilitation skills-able to lead workshops, resolve conflicting viewpoints, and guide groups to consensus
Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data sets and translate insights into actionable improvements
Experience working across multiple business units and navigating matrixed stakeholder environments
Ability to document clear, structured process maps, requirements, and recommendations for executive and technical audiences
Strong communication skills-concise, persuasive, and confident with senior stakeholders
Must understand SAP environments
Preferred Qualifications:
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt required; Black Belt strongly preferred
Experience in supply chain, IT, and Manufacturing
The salary range for this role is $155,000 to $225,000 or the hourly equivalent.
