Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Director with strong expertise in managing key business systems to oversee our core business systems for Money Processing and ATM Management across North America, specifically in the US. This role will require a strategic thinker with a strong background in development methodologies and a proven track record in roadmap planning and execution. Most important part of this role is to partner with Business and drive tech enablement and legacy modernization as appropriate. This role is critical in ensuring efficient and secure operations related to the movement of currency, valuables, and other assets.

The ideal candidate will not only lead business systems enhancements/transformation to meet business needs IT initiatives but will also quickly become the subject matter expert in order to cash lifecycle and supporting business systems with focus on core applications. This position requires supporting business systems critical to US operations and working closely with Global Applications and Product teams to define and execute the technology strategy

Key Responsibilities:

Business Collaboration
Partner closely with the NA Business Relationship Management team to create the business systems vision, roadmap, and execution strategy (including project plans, business cases, and implementation costs) for US Business Applications.

System Implementation
Oversee the technology, implementation, integration, and optimization of business systems involved with money and ATM processing platforms and their integrations.
Manage the delivery of on-premises and SaaS applications, ensuring alignment with business requirements (assess, prioritize, and map demand-supply) and delivery within budget and timelines.
Manage the full application lifecycle from planning through deployment and support.
Ensure applications are secure, scalable, and reliable.

Leadership and Management
Lead and manage the business systems delivery teams.
Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
Provide clear direction, prioritization, and support.

Cross-Functional IT Collaboration
Partner with the Global Center of Excellence for applications, data, architecture, information security, infrastructure, PMO, and the Office of the CIO to ensure IT systems align with Brink's strategy and vision.

Vendor Management
Manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers to ensure system reliability, scalability, and alignment with business needs.

Service Delivery Governance
Oversee the governance framework for IT or business service delivery.
Ensure vendor alignment with service-level agreements (SLAs), key performance indicators (KPIs), and operational metrics.
Monitor performance, manage risk, and drive continuous improvement.

Customer Service Excellence
Ensure systems and processes are designed to support the highest levels of customer service and satisfaction.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in IT (Application Development), with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Extensive experience in managing the delivery of both on-premises and SaaS applications.
  • Strong knowledge of both Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and OCI (Oracle Cloud)
  • Proven experience in developing and managing application delivery roadmaps.
  • Proven experience with vendor management in technology space
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
  • Experience with budget management and financial planning.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
