Job Details

Position: Scrum Master

Location: Onsite St. Louis

Type: Contract - 6 months, with option to extend


Responsibilities

  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

  • Actively identify and remove impediments to enable smooth progress and foster team productivity.

  • Coach and mentor team members on Agile principles, frameworks, and best practices.

  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement across delivery cycles and teams.

  • Collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders to ensure backlog clarity, prioritization, and alignment with project goals.

  • Ensure transparency of progress through metrics, reporting, and effective communication with stakeholders.



Required Skills

  • 3 5 years of proven experience as a Scrum Master in Agile environments.

  • Strong facilitation, conflict resolution, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • In-depth understanding of Scrum, Agile values, and principles.



Preferred Skills/Certifications

  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM).

  • Experience working in hybrid Agile/Waterfall environments and supporting transitions.

  • Familiarity with Agile tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or Rally.

  • Exposure to SAFe or other scaled Agile frameworks is a plus.
