Job Description: Quality Assurance Analyst (Web Application Testing)
Location: Bethesda, MD (Hybrid - 3 days onsite, 2 days remote)

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst with experience in web application testing to join our team in Bethesda, MD. The ideal candidate will have strong manual and/or automated testing skills, a keen eye for identifying defects, and a passion for ensuring high-quality software delivery. This is a hybrid role, requiring 3 days per week onsite in Bethesda.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web applications.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and UI testing.
- Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure requirements are met.
- Conduct cross-browser and cross-device compatibility testing.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives).
- Assist in test automation (Selenium, Cypress, or similar tools is a plus).
- Ensure adherence to QA best practices and company standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in QA/testing, preferably with web applications.
- Strong knowledge of manual testing methodologies.
- Experience with defect tracking tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps, etc.).
- Familiarity with SQL for database validation.
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Exposure to API testing (Postman, REST Assured) is a plus.
- Experience with test automation tools (Selenium, Playwright, etc.) is a bonus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
