As an IT Data Architect, you will be responsible for leading the design and implementation of data solutions that support significant data volumes and are critical to business functions. Responsibilities:
- Design and implement solutions for data architecture including data lakes, data warehouses, and cloud environments.
- Lead the design of Line of Business Data Product data models and document data models, database structures, and data integration solutions.
- Oversee data integration processes, ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of ETL/ELT workflows.
- Optimize databases and data pipelines to improve performance and scalability.
- Lead the adoption of new data platforms and technologies, ensuring alignment with business requirements and IT standards.
- Provide expert guidance and mentorship to data engineers, analysts, and other team members on data architectural best practices.
- Collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to drive data strategies and deliver on organizational data needs.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in data architecture, data modeling, and database design.
- Proven expertise in managing large-scale data architectures including data lakes and data warehouses.
- Strong experience with cloud data platforms, preferably DataBricks and/or Snowflake.
- Excellent skills in designing complex cross-domain data models.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage data integration projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to influence and engage effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Proven track record of successful collaboration with a wide range of stakeholders.
Pay Range: $70.00 - $72.28 Hourly
