Job Description:
Value Technology seeking an experienced Python Developer with 9+ years of hands-on experience to join our team in the Banking & Financial Services domain. This role requires strong backend development skills and experience working on enterprise-grade applications.
Key Skills & Experience Required:
- 9+ years of professional Python development experience
- Strong expertise in Python and building enterprise applications
- Experience with multithreading and multiprocessing in Python
- Proficient with Pandas and other Python libraries
- Solid experience with SQL (Snowflake preferred)
- Familiarity with AWS Cloud services
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins), and version control (Git)
- Hands-on experience with unit testing (e.g., PyTest, unittest)
- Experience working in Agile development environments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
Additional Technical Skills:
- Experience with Flask, FastAPI, or similar Python web frameworks
- Knowledge of RESTful API design, including authentication (OAuth2, JWT)
- Experience with Docker and containerized development
- API deployment on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform)
- Familiar with Unix/Linux CLI and tools like Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI
Preferred/Bonus Skills:
- Exposure to LLMs (OpenAI, Hugging Face, LangChain, etc.)
- Experience with anomaly detection models
- Familiarity with MLOps tools (MLflow, SageMaker, Azure ML)
- Understanding of data pipelines and tools like Airflow, Kafka, or Snowflake
- Basic knowledge of React or other front-end frameworks is a plus
