Job Details

Hi,

We are looking for an experienced SAP GTS Functional Consultant to join our team and drive the design and implementation of global trade compliance solutions. The ideal candidate should have a strong functional background in SAP GTS with expertise in trade compliance, customs management, and risk management.

Long term Contract

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather and analyze business requirements related to global trade and map them to SAP GTS functionality.
  • Configure SAP GTS modules including Compliance Management, Customs Management, and Risk Management.
  • Support the integration of GTS with SAP ECC/S/4HANA and other third-party applications.
  • Conduct workshops with business users to define and streamline trade compliance processes.
  • Define functional specifications and collaborate with technical teams for necessary developments.
  • Perform system testing, UAT support, and ensure successful go-live.
  • Provide training and documentation for business users and support teams.
  • Monitor and resolve system issues, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Stay informed on regulatory changes and suggest necessary system adjustments.
  • Act as the liaison between business stakeholders and IT to ensure alignment on trade compliance objectives.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of SAP experience with at least 2 years in SAP GTS (functional).
  • Strong understanding of global trade processes and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.

The hourly range for roles of this nature are $40 to $80/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry.
