Job Description:
Role: IAM Systems Administrator - CyberArk PAM
Location: Remote (east coast preferred)
Summary: Apex Systems is seeking an IAM Systems Administrator for the CyberArk PAM tool, for a financial services client. This person will be responsible for the administration, operational support, and continuous optimization of the organization's CyberArk Privileged Access Management (PAM) platform, as well as secure management of privileged credentials, secrets, and session activity across hybrid infrastructure (cloud and on-prem), enabling the enforcement of least-privilege access, Zero Standing Privileges (ZSP), and Just-in-Time (JIT) access models.
Qualifications:
2+ years hands-on experience with CyberArk PAM
CyberArk certification
Experience onboarding/configuring accounts, safes, and policies
Strong understanding of IAM, PAM, Zero Trust, and RBAC
Familiarity with CyberArk tools (PVWA, PSM, CPM, Conjur)
Knowledge of Active Directory, LDAP
Scripting skills (PowerShell, Python) preferred
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain CyberArk Privileged Cloud environments
Onboard and manage privileged accounts, safes, secrets, and credentials using:
PVWA (Password Vault Web Access)
PSM (Privileged Session Manager)
CPM (Central Policy Manager)
Troubleshoot issues related to safes, password rotation, and policies
Ensure healthy integrations with platforms like Windows, Linux, databases, cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
Monitor CyberArk component health and performance
Configure and enforce privileged access security policies
Integrate CyberArk with SIEM, ITSM, and other enterprise tools
Collaborate with internal teams to meet audit and compliance requirements
Maintain documentation and support audit activities
