Position Overview:

The Gross to Net Analyst (Anaplan) is responsible for managing and optimizing the gross to net revenue calculation process using the Anaplan platform. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain Anaplan models, analyze data, and provide insights to drive decision-making related to revenue recognition and forecasting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Anaplan Model Development:
  • Design, develop, and maintain Anaplan models to calculate gross to net revenue across various product lines, regions, and channels.
  • Customize Anaplan modules, dashboards, and reports to meet the specific requirements of the gross to net accounting process.
• Data Integration and Validation:
  • Integrate data from various sources, including ERP systems, sales databases, and external data providers, into the Anaplan platform.
  • Validate and reconcile data inputs to ensure accuracy and consistency in gross to net calculations.
• Scenario Analysis and Forecasting:
  • Conduct scenario analysis and sensitivity testing within Anaplan to assess the impact of different pricing strategies, discount structures, and market dynamics on gross to net revenue.
  • Collaborate with finance and sales teams to develop gross to net revenue forecasts and identify key drivers of revenue variance.
• Process Automation and Optimization:
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and streamline the gross to net accounting workflow using Anaplan functionalities.
  • Optimize Anaplan models for performance and scalability to accommodate evolving business needs and data volumes.
• User Training and Support:
  • Provide training and support to end-users on Anaplan functionality, model usage, and best practices.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on Anaplan-related questions and inquiries from stakeholders across the organization.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, information systems, or related field.
• 8 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, revenue accounting, or business intelligence.
• Proficiency in Anaplan modeling, including building modules, creating formulas, and developing dashboards.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business requirements into Anaplan solutions.
• Experience with data integration tools and technologies (e.g., ETL processes, APIs) preferred.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
