We are seeking a skilled Windows 10 to 11 Migration Support Technician to assist with a company-wide operating system upgrade. This role involves providing ticket-based support and ensuring a smooth transition for end users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to incoming trouble tickets related to the Windows 10 to 11 migration.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and compatibility issues during and after migration.
- Assist end users with Windows 11 features, settings, and performance optimizations.
- Work with IT teams to identify and escalate complex migration challenges.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and security protocols during the upgrade process.
- Document issues, resolutions, and best practices to improve migration efficiency.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with Windows 11 platform.
- Previous experience supporting OS migrations (Windows 10 to 11 preferred).
- Strong troubleshooting skills for Windows applications, drivers, and system settings.
- Experience working with ticketing systems to track and resolve user issues.
- Excellent communication and customer support skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with enterprise-wide deployments.
- Knowledge of Windows deployment tools (Intune, SCCM, MDT, etc.).
- Understanding of Active Directory and Group Policy changes in Windows 11.
