IT SALES ACCOUNT MANAGER (STAFF AUGMENTATION & PROJECTS/SOW)

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven IT Sales Account Manager with staff aug experience and DIR experience to join our growing team in Austin. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong client relationships, driving sales growth, and providing technology solutions tailored to customer needs. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of IT products and services, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering top-notch customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Account Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, understanding their IT needs and business challenges.
  • Sales Growth: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive revenue growth through upselling and cross-selling IT solutions.
  • Client Consultation: Work closely with clients to assess their technology requirements and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Sales Process Management: Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation, proposal development, contract negotiation, and deal closure.
  • Collaboration: Work with internal teams, including technical support and product specialists, to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and emerging IT technologies to provide clients with innovative solutions.
  • Performance Metrics: Meet and exceed sales targets, KPIs, and revenue goals.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in IT sales, account management, or a related field.
  • Experience: Established involvement with the Department of Information Resources highly preferred
  • Education: Bachelor s degree in Business, IT, or a related field (preferred, not required).
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with IT solutions, including hardware, software, cloud services, and cybersecurity.
  • Sales Skills: Strong ability to generate leads, negotiate contracts, and close deals effectively.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex IT solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address client concerns and provide strategic IT solutions.
  • CRM Proficiency: Experience with CRM software for managing leads, sales pipelines, and customer interactions.
  • Team Player: Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced sales environment.
