Job Description

We are seeking a skilled BI Reporting Analyst to join our client's team in a hybrid work environment. In this role, you will perform comprehensive business analysis using various analytical techniques to determine best practices and develop actionable insights for current business operations. You will work directly with internal and external clients to identify analytical requirements and may help produce ad hoc data and reports.

The position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge analytics tools and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive data-driven decision making. You will have the flexibility of a hybrid schedule, working on-site three days per week (Tuesday through Thursday) while maintaining the ability to work remotely for focused analytical work.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform business analysis using statistical analysis, explanatory and predictive modeling, and data mining techniques
• Determine best practices and develop actionable insights and recommendations for current business operations
• Work directly with internal or external clients to identify analytical requirements
• Produce ad hoc data and reports as needed
• Assist in implementing or developing systems to capture business operation information
• Develop and maintain Tableau dashboards for business intelligence and reporting
• Create and optimize Qlik applications and visualizations
• Write complex SQL queries to extract and analyze data from multiple sources
• Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders
• Guide and mentor less experienced business data analysts when needed

Required Experience/Skills

• Advanced proficiency in SQL for data extraction and analysis
• Proven experience in Tableau dashboard development
• Demonstrated expertise in Qlik development and administration
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Experience working directly with business stakeholders to gather requirements
• Knowledge of statistical analysis and data mining techniques
• Ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience in financial technology or software industry
• Background with additional analytics tools and programming languages
• Familiarity with predictive modeling techniques
• Experience with data visualization best practices
• Knowledge of database management and data warehousing concepts

Education

Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or related quantitative field preferred
