Job Details

Position: Project Manager

Duration: 1 year

Location: Minneapolis, MN

Role Overview

Provides overall leadership, coordination, and oversight for data staff augmentation services supporting a police department's data analytics, reporting, and consent decree compliance activities. Acts as the primary liaison between City stakeholders and the analytics team while ensuring timely, accurate, and sustainable delivery of required outputs.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 3+ years experience supporting a police department, DOJ engagement, or consent decree / court-mandated monitoring
  • Experience leading public-sector or law enforcement data analytics initiatives

Strong understanding of:

  • Police data domains (use of force, stops, searches, arrests, officer-involved incidents)
  • DOJ or court-ordered reporting requirements
  • Experience managing staff augmentation or blended teams
  • Strong stakeholder communication and facilitation skills
  • Ability to mentor analysts and transfer knowledge
  • Experience working in regulated data environments

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working with City Attorney, Compliance, or Oversight entities
  • Familiarity with CJIS or criminal justice data controls
  • Experience with Tableau or Power BI (oversight level)

Scope of Work

  • Serve as day-to-day engagement lead
  • Coordinate analytics activities across internal and external stakeholders
  • Translate settlement agreement requirements into actionable analytics tasks

Oversee delivery of:

  • Public transparency dashboards
  • Internal compliance dashboards
  • Ensure deliverables align with court and settlement language
  • Facilitate planning sessions, status meetings, and reviews
  • Ensure documentation and knowledge transfer to internal staff
  • Monitor schedule, risks, and quality of work products
