Junior Data Engineer
We are seeking a motivated Junior Data Engineer to join our growing data and machine learning team. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting model training workflows, building reproducible data pipelines, and ensuring the integrity and usability of data across projects. You'll work closely with data scientists and ML engineers to help deliver high-quality datasets that power robust machine learning models.
Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain reproducible pipelines to supply data for model training


• Cleanse and preprocess raw data to meet modeling requirements


• Monitor and report on data quality to ensure consistency and accuracy


• Support structured data ingestion into various storage formats (databases, files, etc.)


• Assist in data labeling efforts to enhance training datasets


• Measure and report on model performance metrics


• Collaborate closely with the ML team to understand data needs and support model deployment pipelines

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python, R, or similar programming languages


• Hands-on experience with databases such as MS SQL, BigQuery, or similar


• Familiarity with Azure or other cloud platforms


• Strong understanding of data cleaning and preprocessing techniques


• Basic understanding of data quality monitoring and reporting


• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Preferred (Nice to Have)

• Exposure to pipeline orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow, Luigi, or similar


• Understanding of ML model lifecycle and performance measurement


• Interest in scaling and automating data workflows
