Job Description

Support a secure migration of core systems to Azure and architect security for public-facing applications in a financial compliance environment is the cure job description.

Core Technical Skills

Cloud Security Architecture

Design end-to-end security architecture for Azure environments.

Develop security blueprints, standards, and patterns aligned with frameworks (e.g., NIST CSF, Azure Security Benchmarks).

Implement Zero Trust principles for network and application segmentation.

Migration Strategy

Plan and execute secure "lift and shift" migrations.

Architect for future cloud-native optimization.

Security Tooling & Integration

Integrate Azure telemetry and logs into enterprise SIEM/SOC.

Deploy and optimize cloud-native security tools (CWPP, CSPM).

Apply Infrastructure as Code and DevSecOps for automated security control deployment.

Compliance & Risk Management

Align architecture with financial regulations (e.g., FFIEC).

Design controls for public-facing applications and API security.

Produce executive-level risk reports and mitigation strategies.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

7+ years in Information Security; 4+ years in Cloud Security Architecture within regulated environments.

Expert-level knowledge of Azure security services:

Azure Security Center / Defender for Cloud

Azure Sentinel / Log Analytics

NSGs, Azure Firewall

Proven experience integrating cloud environments with enterprise SIEM/SOC.

Strong understanding of secure application development and API protection.

Preferred certifications: AZ-500, CCSP, CISSP, CISM.
