Start Date: November 3, 2025
Duration: 24 months (Potential for full-time conversion)
Team: Credit Risk and Integrated Data Management & Reporting (CRDR), Enterprise Functions Technology
About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack) to support strategic regulatory data and reporting initiatives within the Credit Risk domain. This role will contribute to the transformation of legacy systems into a modern, cloud-ready platform that supports critical regulatory reporting and data processing needs.
As part of a contingent workforce pilot program, you will collaborate with internal teams to design, develop, and deploy scalable software solutions, while ensuring compliance with internal policies and industry standards.

Responsibilities
- Lead and contribute to moderately complex software engineering initiatives.
- Participate in large-scale planning and strategy development.
- Design, develop, test, and deploy full-stack applications using modern frameworks and technologies.
- Analyze and resolve technical challenges involving multiple variables and constraints.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet deliverables and ensure alignment with business goals.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
- Act as an escalation point for technical issues and project blockers.
- 4+ years of experience in software engineering, demonstrated through work experience, education, military service, or training.
- Proficiency in one or more of the following programming languages: Java, Spring Boot, Angular, C#.
- 2+ years of experience in cloud-native application development.
- Strong experience with database technologies such as MongoDB and SQL Server.
- Expertise in ETL procedures, SQL queries, stored procedures, and data modeling.
- Experience developing web services and APIs using Spring Boot or similar frameworks.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and object-oriented design principles.
- Experience writing unit and integration tests.
- Ability to refactor legacy code for performance and maintainability.
- Experience integrating independent systems and data sources.
- Exposure to Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Team Foundation Server.
- This role is part of a contingent workforce pilot program.
