Position: DBA Developer with Strong AWS & PostgreSQL (Don t submit DBA Admin profile)
Location: Wilmington, DE (Weekly 5 days office is Must)

Job Description:
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of DBA experience, with strong hands-on expertise in PostgreSQL.
2+ years of experience managing Oracle databases, preferably via AWS RDS.
Deep understanding of database internals, indexing strategies, and performance tuning.
Experience with cloud-native database deployments (especially AWS RDS, Aurora).
Proficiency in writing and debugging SQL, PL/pgSQL, and PL/SQL.
Familiarity with monitoring tools such as CloudWatch, Datadog, or pgAdmin.
Strong knowledge of backup/recovery strategies, logical/physical replication, and database security.
AWS Certification (e.g., AWS Certified Database Specialty, Solutions Architect Associate).
Experience with Kubernetes and containerized database deployments.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools.
Experience in scripting (Python, Bash) for automation.
Knowledge of other database systems (MySQL, Aurora, MongoDB) is a plus.
Collaborate with developers to support application performance through SQL tuning, schema design, and database best practices.
Ensure data security and compliance with industry standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI).
Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.
Develop and maintain database documentation, standards, and operational procedures.
