  • Worksite Location: Eagan, MN
  • Compensation: $55.00 per hour

What you ll do as the Business Systems Analyst:

  • Work with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into clear, concise requirements for software or system development
  • Develop detailed documentation that outlines how software or systems should function to meet business requirements
  • Develop the overall UAT strategy, including test plans, scenarios, and scripts
  • Lead and coordinate testing activities, ensuring timely completion of testing within the project timeline
  • Identify, track, and escalate defects, working with developers to ensure timely resolution
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and other relevant parties to facilitate testing and address issues
  • Provide regular updates on testing progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders
  • Guide and mentor the UAT team, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support

What you need to become the Business Systems Analyst:

  • Ability to analyze complex problems, identify patterns, and develop logical solutions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in test management tools: Familiarity with tools like JIRA, TestRail, or HP ALM for test case management and defect tracking
  • Understanding of Agile principles and the ability to work effectively within an Agile development environment
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and basic technical concepts
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team of testers
