Description
We're looking for a contract IT Service Management (ITSM) Specialist to support and enhance our IT Service Management environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with ITSM platforms like HaloITSM, ServiceNow, Freshservice, Ivanti, or similar, and will be responsible for configuring workflows, intake forms, SLAs, and reporting. They must have strong Excel skills - particularly with pivot tables, formulas, and charting - to support SLA tracking, service performance reporting, and asset-related analysis. This is a live environment, so we need someone who can work independently, communicate effectively, and apply ITIL-based thinking. Bonus if they've worked with CMDBs, user portal feedback, or service catalog design. Skills: Experience administering or supporting an ITSM platform (e.g., HaloITSM, ServiceNow, Ivanti, Freshservice, Jira Service Management, etc.). Strong proficiency with Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, charts, and conditional formatting. Working knowledge of ITIL v4 foundations (certification a plus). Strong analytical and communication skills - able to gather requirements, articulate solutions, and translate needs into action. Experience with CMDB structure, asset categories (like CIs, peripherals, mobile, etc.), and ITSM relationships. Familiarity with service metrics, SLAs, and continuous improvement frameworks. Comfortable with tools like Smartsheet, Google Workspace, Lucidchart, or similar. Ability to collaborate across teams and departments, from technical staff to business stakeholders.
