Position: Cybersecurity Specialist (DevSecOps)
Location: Westpoint, NY
Duration: Long Term
THIS IS AN ONSITE ROLE AT WESTPOINT, NY. SO, NEED ONLY LOCALS.
NEED EXPERIENCE WITH DEVSECOPS.
Responsibilities:
Implement secure software development practices aligned with client STIGs, NIST, and FISMA frameworks.
Conduct security assessments using Burp Suite, Specflow, Azure Defender for DevOps.
Support vulnerability management, threat detection, and intrusion prevention activities.
Configure Azure security controls, RBAC policies, identity management, and encryption standards.
Collaborate with developers and architects to integrate security by design into the client platform.
Document security controls, authorization boundaries, and provide risk mitigation strategies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
5+ years experience as a Cybersecurity Analyst or DevSecOps Engineer in federal environments.
Expertise with Burp Suite, Specflow, Azure Defender, and other cybersecurity tools.
Strong knowledge of secure coding standards, OWASP Top 10, and data protection mechanisms.
