Specialist - IT Software Licensing Specialist Onsite
Primary Location: Phoenix, Arizona

V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a Specialist - IT Software Licensing Specialist for our premier client in Phoenix, Arizona.

Education and Experience
  • 1-2 years of experience in project coordination.
  • 1-2 years of experience in software asset management.
  • 1-2 years of experience in software licensing compliance.
  • 1-2 years of experience in software contract negotiation.
  • 1-2 years of experience in software vendor management.
  • 1-2 years of experience in software Cross-functional Collaboration.
  • 1-2 years of experience in software Reporting and Analysis.
  • Experience with ServiceNow.
  • Experience with Google Suite.
  • 1-2 years of experience in software vendor management.
  • Experience researching, analyzing and interpreting data and numbers (license counts, license costs and division).

Preferred:
  • Strong understanding of software licensing models and agreements.
  • Ability to communicate complex licensing information clearly and concisely to various stakeholders, including vendors and internal teams.
  • Experience with tools used to track and manage software licenses and assets.
  • Detail-oriented and organized.
  • Ability to manage large volumes of data and maintain accurate records.
  • Familiarity with various licensing metrics (e.g., per-user, per-device, subscription) and legal terms.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to analyze software usage data, identify trends, and develop solutions to optimize licensing and minimize costs.
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in software asset management (SAM) tools.
  • Experience with tools used to track and manage software licenses and assets.

Job Responsibilities:
  • General knowledge of the organization's policies and procedures.
  • General knowledge of software licensing and asset management methodologies and tools.
  • Knowledge of technology asset life cycle management processes.
  • Ability to maintain accurate documentation and records.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in teams and across organizations.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance, prioritize and organize multiple tasks.
  • Familiar with IT ticketing, service desk, and asset management systems.
  • Working knowledge of fundamental operations of relevant software, applications and collaboration tools such as Google and Microsoft suite.
  • Related experience and training in troubleshooting and providing customer support.
  • Knowledge and experience of customer service practices, including communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain levels of productivity.
  • Being detail-oriented and capable of delivering a high level of accuracy.
  • Collaborative skills- demonstrated ability to form strong partnerships with both business and technical resources.
  • Familiar with a variety of IT concepts, practices, and procedures.
